CONSTELLATIONS AUDITIONS

By Nick Payne

Presented through Special Arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.

Audition Dates: December 18 & 19 at 7pm (No Appointment Necessary – this is an open call)

Production Dates: February 1 – 11, 2024

Director: Trish Weaver-Rhodes

Where: Stonzek Studio Theatre at the Lake Worth Playhouse – 713 Lake Ave, Lake Worth Beach, Florida 33460

What to Prepare: Please prepare a contemporary monologue no more than 2 minutes in length. Actors also may be asked to read from the script.

About the Show:  This spellbinding, romantic journey begins with a simple encounter between a man and a woman. But what happens next defies the boundaries of the world we think we know—delving into the infinite possibilities of their relationship and raising questions about the difference between choice and destiny.

Available Roles (The Lake Worth Playhouse encourages people of all races, abilities, and genders to audition for the roles they most identify with.):

Marianne: a fiercely intelligent scientist dealing with a terminal illness; though she’s a serious professional working in the top 1% of her field, she has a quirky, head-in-the-clouds quality; friendly, warm, and quick-witted, comedic chops.

Roland: a charming, laid-back beekeeper; warm and open, with a good sense of humor, earthy and likable.
