About the Show:
Good intentions collide with absurd assumptions in Larissa FastHorse’s wickedly funny satire, as a troupe of terminally woke teaching artists scrambles to create a pageant that somehow manages to celebrate both Turkey Day and Native American Heritage Month.
Available Roles (The Lake Worth Playhouse encourages people of all races, abilities, and genders to audition for the roles they most identify with.):
All roles are open. Casting is open to all ethnicities, genders, and ages (18+), with a focus on strong comedic timing and ensemble chemistry.
Logan – High school drama teacher, ambitious but insecure, desperately trying to do the “right thing.”
Jaxton – Street performer and yoga enthusiast, painfully earnest and politically correct to a fault.
Alicia – Aspiring actress, confident and charming, often missing the deeper point.
Caden – Elementary school history teacher, sweet and socially awkward, passionate about historical accuracy.
Online submissions are on a case-by-case basis.
