BEGINNING TAP

Beginning Tap (Ages 18+) – Taught by Joanne DePrizio

5:30 – 7:00 PM on Tuesdays in the Rehearsal Hall

Tuition: $60 for each monthly 4-week session ($20 drop-in option)

Students will be taught the technique of basic tap steps, balance control, weight shifts, and how to develop memory skills to transition from one tap step to another, together with hand/arm movements associated with the tap steps. This class is instructional, and basic steps will be broken down and taught. This class is a prerequisite for Intermediate Tap.

INTERMEDIATE TAP

Intermediate Tap (Ages 18+) – Taught by Joanne DePrizio

5:30 – 7:00 PM on Thursdays in the Rehearsal Hall

Tuition: $60 for each monthly 4-week session ($20 drop-in option)

Students will have mastered the basic steps, balance, weight shifts, and increased memory level to be able to take this class. Students will learn more advanced tap steps and full choreography will be taught. This is a fast-paced class, and students will be expected to keep the pace and execute the more advanced steps. Prerequisite: Beginning Tap

MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE WORKSHOP

Intermediate-Advanced Musical Theatre Dance Workshop (Ages 14 – Adult)

Have you been struggling to find a class that will both challenge you and allow you to just let loose? Then this workshop is for you! Class will begin with a warm-up, followed by a musical theatre jazz class structure, and will finish with a Broadway-style dance combo. Now let’s dance!

Dance experience is required.
