BEGINNING TAP

Beginning Tap (Ages 18+) – Taught by Joanne DePrizio

4-Week Sessions

May 7 – 28

Tuesdays 5:30-7:00 pm in the Rehearsal Hall

Students will be taught the technique of basic tap steps, balance control, weight shifts, and how to develop memory skills to transition from one tap step to another, together with hand/arm movements associated with the tap steps. This class is instructional and basic steps will be broken down and taught. This class is a prerequisite for Intermediate Tap.

Tuition: $60 for each monthly 4-week session ($20 drop-in option)

INTERMEDIATE TAP

Intermediate Tap (Ages 18+) – Taught by Joanne DePrizio

4-Week Sessions
April 4 – 25
May 2 – 23 (No class 5/30)

Thursdays 5:30 – 7:00 pm in the Rehearsal Hall

Students will have mastered the basic steps, balance, weight shifts, and increased memory level to be able to take this class. Students will learn more advanced tap steps and full choreography will be taught. This is a fast-paced class and students will be expected to keep the pace and execute the more advanced steps. Prerequisite: Beginning Tap

Tuition: $60 for each 4-week monthly session ($20 drop-in option)

ACTING FOR THE CAMERA

March 28 – May 23, 2024

Acting for the Camera (Ages 13+) – Taught by Lorenzo Ponce de Leon

March 28 – May 23 (9 weeks)
Thursdays from 4 PM – 5:15 PM in the Rehearsal Hall

Tuition: $195

Acting for the Camera will focus on acting and preparation for movie roles as well as the audition process for on camera work.  The class will include mock auditions, self-tapings, single and ensemble scenes in-front of a camera and students will create a reel they can use for future auditions.
