Organic Movements’ 12th annual End of Year Curricular Review brings together the beauty and wonder of the Four Seasons. We invite you to travel with us in an exploration of burgeoning life in Spring, to the languid heat of Summer, chased away by the crisp turn of Autumnal winds, and finally, chilled by the harsh beauty of Winter. The seasons of a year, and those of life, intertwine to create a majestic journey as our students demonstrate their own hard work and the evolution of their technique and talents this past year.

Enjoy the talents of a stellar cast of Florida’s finest burlesque artists and special guests, adorned in spectacular handmade costumes. Romance, mystery, and magic await you on June 7th at the Lake Worth Playhouse.
This show is produced by Lake Worth’s own Ruby Tesla. You may have seen Ruby recently at Cugini Wine Bar & Gallery, Respectable Street, Library Speakeasy, and various other local venues & events, or at her nerdlesque productions Burtonlesque and Tolkien It Off at The Banyan Live. Previously, Ruby produced the burlesque series that ran at the Kelsey Theater from 2017-2020. Ruby’s mission is to create spectacular, over-the-top, varied & inclusive burlesque and variety shows, and has done so to rave reviews since 2013. One Black Soldier’s Journey after he was denied the benefit of his GI Bill is Told in the Groundbreaking Play “AT ALL COST.” By Playwright Rashida Costa.
Imagine being ostracized because of the color of your skin. Blacks faced this nightmare and painful reality across this nation. Redlining was a common practice utilized to keep blacks from gaining access to homeownership.
The GI Bill seems promising, after all it is a benefit that was put into place for all. But was it afforded to all people regardless of your skin color?
Set in the South in 1945 after WWII, Wray Edmond, a Black soldier returns home in pursuit of a better life for his family and purchases a Casino after being denied the benefits of the G.I. Bill.
The story of the struggles faced by one black soldier and his family is told in the groundbreaking play AT ALL COST.

Actor/comedian Brad Zimmerman’s moving and hilarious story is about the grit required to ‘make it’ as an artist, and the sweet rewards that come from never giving up. Brad moved to New York after college and ‘temporarily’ worked as a waiter for
29 Years, while pursuing his career as an actor. Finally, he found success with a role on the Sopranos, and as the opening act for Joan Rivers (for 8 years), Brad Garrett, and George Carlin. He now has his own hit Off Broadway shows that are as profound and touching as they are entertaining.
