The Lake Worth Playhouse invites actors of all experience levels to audition for Dracula, presented as a live radio play in the tradition of the classic broadcasts of the 1930s and 1940s.
Adapted from Bram Stoker’s legendary novel and inspired by the acclaimed Mercury Theatre on the Air radio production, this thrilling evening of suspense recreates the excitement of live vintage radio before a studio audience.
Performers will bring the story to life using period microphones, voice acting, live sound effects, and the magic of classic radio storytelling. Actors may be cast in multiple roles.
We strongly encourage performers of all backgrounds, identities, ages, abilities, and experience levels to audition. The Lake Worth Playhouse is committed to inclusive, welcoming casting practices and creating a supportive rehearsal environment for everyone.
Audition Notes:
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. No prepared monologue is required.
Online submissions are on a case-by-case basis.
